Academic planning

It is academic planning, a flexible online tool that allows students to plan their college coursework. Students search for classes from an embedded course/class search. After planning, students can seamlessly move planned courses to utilization the schedule build tool. Students can receive the courses and academic records.

It provides the tools and workspaces where a student can plan their academic career. Students are able to:

  • Search for approved courses 
  •  Search for offered classes
  • Facilitates both short term and long term planning
  • Audit planned courses against their degree requirements
  • See classes they have already completed
  • See classes for which they are registered
  • Build a schedule based on anticipated courses using the Schedule Build tool
  • Move to the registration process to enroll in classes
  • Advisors can recommend courses to a student and the student can accept that recommendation and include the course in their plan
  • Advisors can review and provide feedback on a student’s plan

Financial Management

Financial services component built to support accounting needs including financial accounting management, financial aid credits and subsequent billing statement. It consists of the following key business processes:

Test Management 

It is used to store information on how testing is to be done, plan testing activities and report the status of quality assurance activities. The tools have different approaches to testing and thus have different sets of features. Generally they are used to maintain and plan manual testing, run or gather execution data from automated tests, manage multiple environments and to enter information about found defects.
Features or characteristics of test management tools are:

  • To manage the tests (like, keeping track of the same kind of data for a given set of tests,   knowing which tests need to run in a common environment, number of tests planned, written, run, passed or failed)
  • Scheduling of tests to be executed (manually or by a test execution tool)
